A reference sheet for the bat pony Vesper Echoes. The background of the ref sheet is a starry night sky, in the style of the show. Vesper has a mare’s build, with a grey coat. The pony’s mane and tail are a dark blue with streaks of blue-purple. The mane is similar to Rainbow Dash’s, but short in the back and the bangs curl downwards to cover a little bit of the eyes. The tail is also short, stopping just above the hocks. Vesper’s left eye is a warm yellow color, and the right eye a blue-purple similar to the mane. The bat wings are blue-purple, with a light blue membrane. Vesper’s cutie mark is a mirror with a hoof touching the surface of the mirror, with the reflection visible in the mirror as well. This pony is greatly inspired by the first reveal of bat ponies in the show, and aesthetically matches the show’s design philosophy from seasons 1-4.
This piece operates with a limited color palette, utilizing a gradient from dark blue to bright white. Four figures are in a line, with each one being slightly closer to the camera. However, this time it’s night themed with bioluminescent sparkles in the water and glowing stickers. Tarakesh has several bioluminescent features as a result of being themed after firefly squids. His eyes, freckles, and ink all glow at night. The racing stripes on his rash guard also glow, due to synching with his ink color akin to the various pants in-game.

Featured in the ref sheet is Tarakesh, an inkling with medium dark skin and a turquoise ink color. His eyes are pink and lively. He sports a center split haircut with bangs that just barely meet the tops of his ears. On his face, ears, and limb joints are freckles that match his ink color. He also has an ahoge between his bangs. Tarakesh is wearing a rash guard with a squid racing stripe pattern on the side seams. Over his rash guard he wears a top that resembles a fishing net, with pink and yellow beads. He also wears blue and yellow shorts with blue Zekko shoes. His birthday is July 11th. His ink texture/pattern is the same as the blue Summer Nights ink. He surfs on water and on ink, and he works on the boardwalk—primarily as a dunk tank carnie.
