PDS contains various types of data (denoted by colored blocks), but only the "sicko" PDSs contain purple data. Jason Gerecke (1 month ago) I've spoke with @Pinglinux and @Joshua-Dickens and Wacom strongly requests a timeline that delays this to sometime after GNOME 47. We'd like to sync up with the studios to understand how this would impact their artists and IT departments, which will take a bit of time. Some of us will also be unavailable for sizeable portions of the next few weeks which is going to impact our ability to consider this in time for a GNOME 47 target. We're open to the idea of a "pro" control panel, but I don't know if we're as broadly open to the idea of removing all settings from GNOME Control Center. I can understand the technical arguments for not duplicating settings / code, but at this point in time there's also a long-standing expectation from tablet users that GNOME will provide basic configuration options for their devices out of the box.
