They're just listening to random minorities about their thoughts on the "meta" And adjusting accordingly So that people who got fucked get a chance to shine some I've said it before, I will say it again Balance is a very fickle thing, and its controversy rivals even politics You can balance a thing in two fundamental but eventually flawed ways: You can make good things, and bad things. Whether that be weapons, characters, classes, jobs, etc... This would mean that you have a "meta" Which needs to be changing slowly (unless major fuckup) that people enjoy it but also fast enough that people don't get sick of it That's something that can never be achieved for obvious reasons Therefore it's one way in which it's flawed You can make most of everything homogenized, the same way FF14 did. This way, everything is the same and everything is viable That means there is no M.ost E.ffective T.actics A.vailable, in other words, meta But that means that it's really boring So that's one reason why 2. is flawed And these are the two ends of the spectrum FF14 is actually genius lowkey People say that in its PVP classes have more identity than in PVE, in a PVE focused game, but that's exactly why In PVE, you cannot afford to have people exclude shit because they're bad, otherwise your game will sell really poorly So, you get the homogenization Since you can also balance the PVE content around said homogenization, and make it harder to make up for the lack of variety In PVP, that cannot really happen This is also why FF14 has multiple PVP modes, in which some jobs are viable and some others are not, and it's the other way around on the other PVP mode

Okay I know that the Ace Attorney universe's... laws... for want of a better word, are a bit different, but a prosecutor, let alone Klavier of all people, making a big deal of an "anonymous tip" the "prosecutor's office" received of all things, when it was clearly just Kristoph is a bit weird, and maybe even out of character. But to come back to the point I wanted to make, and please bear with me because I'm not exactly certain about how to say this, but I feel that something like accusing the other party of withholding a piece of evidence and then accuse them, mere minutes later, that the same piece of evidence that they withheld is a forgery, is something that should be illegal even by Ace Attorney standards. And if not illegal, definitely a dick move. Because regardless of who did it, if the counsel chose not to present it... Why is it relevant in the first place? One other thing is, if this is Kristoph's plan "failing", why exactly did he have Drew Misham name Klavier, of all people? You are right that the whole point of Kristoph was that he was very paranoiac, but I feel like this goes beyond paranoia, and going into some (quite ridiculous) foresight. Finally, if betrayal of someone means that they were on your side in the first place, why did nobody bat an eye when Kristoph said he will betray Klavier in court? Why were there no consequences? I think (?) I get what this video is trying to do (or maybe I don't!). Ace Attorney 4 definitely had some flaws in that Phoenix presented a fairly, or very, even, dubious piece of evidence and in that they treated Phoenix (very) unfairly, as they always do (Since a lot of prosecutors did some illegal stuff (Hello Manfred von Karma), but nobody really cared, and when Phoenix presented one piece of evidence that was forged, and unknowingly, to boot, he lost his badge). However, I don't really know if moving the flaws from one character to another is a good way to go about doing things, lol
