On an ashen battlefield, a knight offers you their hand to lift you up. Their intense eyes remain on whatever lies out of view: within the crimson glow it remains distant -- yet powerful enough to command the challenger's attention as it lights the dark; contrasting their shield of burning blue even from such range.
A battle-ragged Gunbreaker stands poised, not quite ready to believe her quarry -- a mortal terror from beyond this world, garbed in a hide of swords -- is ended. As ceruleum sparks dissipate from exhausted shell casings, the field grows cold, and silent as a grave. A victor has been chosen.
