There was a photo I wish I'd taken some years back. A burned out daycare on Gratiot had, inexplicably, a classic gumball machine, filled with gumballs, standing in the middle of the doorway. Looked beautiful & strange in the morning sun. It was never the right time to stop, and then it was gone.
