crimsonender I was thinking of making a post saying "I think trans men and nonbinary people should be allowed to hunt baeddels for sport" but I knew it would be twisted to say I'm a transmisogynist for making a dark joke about a group of people that think I would be better off dead just for virtue of being assigned female at birth and daring to identify as something other than a girl. Painting trans men as the bad guys once again when baeddels are out here saying the most evil vitriolic things about us. Dean Solecki Senior Android Engineer I had an interview once where they wanted me to make a slide deck as, I think, an "about me" or something like that, to present at the beginning of my onsite. A stupid thing, but low stakes and silly. So I decided to make the entire thing corgi themed. Every slide had one, or several cute corgi pictures, for no particular reason. I don't own a corgi. The corgi in my profile picture belongs to a friend. I have no idea why, but everyone in this presentation seemed absolutely mortified that I didn't take this seriously and used a corgi theme. I still to this day don't understand why it was such a big deal. It was such a stupid task, and who doesn't like corgis?
