Honestly don’t plant bamboo as it’s an invasive species of plant and will kill other plants in the area and eventually spread out. Bamboo is notoriously difficult to kill and remove. I caution against this. There are other noninvasive means to fight data centers.

let's not introduce an invasive plant in our efforts. two wrongs don't make a right.

My neighbor planted bamboo. Now we have bamboo. Bamboo for everyone!

Yeah I get the sentiment but really you should not do this. It’s bad for the environment. Bamboo is hostile and grows fast, outpacing native species. You’re solving a problem by making another problem. Plant fast growing or destructive native things instead.

You shouldn't plant bamboo ANYWHERE.

Kudzu is also a big invasive no. Brief tangent - helpful site.

Please don't do environmental damage with invasive species in order to fight environmental damage with data centers. It's quite the swallow a spider to catch a fly situation

don’t fucking sabotage native ecosystems in some boneheaded attempt to affect datacentres you idiot delete this
