Question: What would be the economic impact of doing this? Please provide quantitative information where possible. Answer: Falsely claiming that computer generated works can exist without human authors will open the door for AI corporations to collapse the creative industry in the name of profit. The legalised erasure of humans from the equation is only of benefit to capital-driven corporations who desire to exploit creators' labour (or are willing to be complicit in that exploitation). The result of this will be the utter devaluation of creative work, and the destruction of those workers' livelihoods.
