ashley fairbanks @ziibiing.com · Jul 2 update: some mpls pals had a bathroom emergency. they’d been paying rent for months for an undocumented neighbor and had no savings to deal with the repair. but that neighbor was a contractor. so we raised money to pay him to fix it. which paid his rent for two more months. work is done!

i just can’t imagine a better success story for mutual aid and a circular economy. this family does incredible work for community in hard, underpaid fields. their neighbor desperately wanted to be working but couldn’t because of ICE. this gave him a safe space to earn money. my heart is full.
