Love this. We had young Jehovah's witnesses call this week, they had to walk miles to get here, I hope they enjoyed the walk.

“It was soul destroying” That’s a great pivot point in the poem. That hoping feels a little empty. We have to wonder if conviction was at least temporarily more satisfying.
