The moment I wake, he meets my gaze, we share a slow blink, then he starts purring and making biscuits. I wake at 3am, the pup doesn’t rise until 6ish. The company as I brew coffee and write is a welcome change.

Awe my pups always get up and have coffee with me they are my coffee mates. Ngl… I’m give them bits of cat food out of the dish from the day before so that’s probably the motivation lol.
Make sure the pet is de-pested a girlfriend had to get a lawyer in the 90s because she contracted a parasite from a random kitten who slept on her pillow. & sh3 had to be legally protected when he published a journal article about her infection … all fine, other than having #parasite #treatment
