The garden is doing garden things! This is a volunteer plant that sprouted from a seed from my compost. The cats have graciously let it grow, but I have no clue what it is. Any guesses?

Looks like the leaves of a squash plant but it has been a very, very long time since I saw one growing in our yard! Also the fruit or whatever that is could be a mellon? IDK 😁🪴💕
