34/12 here in VC80 last night, only 4 (!) in trap - the rest potted or netted around and about. First Feathered Thorn of the year (1 of 3), 2 Dark Chestnut and a dark Chestnut. A Merv. and a Rhomboid Tortrix best of the rest, with 14 Nov. aggs. making up the numbers. #TeamMoth

Bellycan I was just watching clouds of moths around this bottlebrush tree, when a pair of musk lorikeets rocketed into it. Sadly, I didn't capture the birds on video, and they disappeared into the back of the tree quickly. But it shook up the moths a lot! #LakeMacquarie #moths
