Cal leading by 5 points and coming out in the “five guys defending the goal line” defense with *10 seconds left* and the ball on the Cal 27 was one of the funniest plays I’ve ever seen. Just conceding 20 yards and a Virginia Tech first and goal to win the game for no reason. Beautiful.

The color guy for the Cal game was the baby brother in the family down the street from me. His oldest brother coached my eighth grade basketball team and he’d toddle around on the sidelines all practice. Anyway, I am one million years old.
