We read The Yellow Wallpaper in class in the early 90s and I tried to draw the wallpaper creeper and the woman. Mine looked really bad but yours is exactly how I imagined that scene!

One of my favorite stories from school and onward. Your piece speaks to her growing paranoia, the story's overwhelming putridness, and the reader's anxiety for her slipping away 'before our eyes.'

I LOVE this. It’s also made me realize how much of a different picture I had in my head of the yellow wallpaper! The one in my head is more like, a cape cod style attic bedroom, mostly white and very simple, and the sunny wallpaper is the most obnoxious thing in what is almost a sterile room
