Keir Starmer you are fully vindicated. He understood the irreversibility of trashing the relationship and thus the importance of not doing it prematurely. He was determined for Trump to be the one to ultimately trash it and has been proven correct. Well played. #UKPolitics #Starmer #Greenland

And it's all down to Starmer's vision, resolve and diplomacy 😀 Great to see you back on message Robin. You did wobbled for a brief moment. Venezuela and Palestine will be delighted to see our human rights lawyer PM leading calls for a rules based world order

Despite all the critics, left and right, he did exactly the right thing (just as he previously did sucking up to the orange nonce). Result? Lower tariffs while still retaining the ability to call the stinky, demented Don whenever he makes policy based on what he saw last on X or what Putin wants.

Trump backed down because the EU and others presented a coordinated response and a United front rather than engaging individually. All those calling Starmer a coward for not threatening or initiating an instant threat as a response have shown themselves up as genuine idiots.
