"Commodore puts people first. We use technology to serve people, not replace them, exploit them, or mine their data. Our website has no tracking cookies, no cookie popup, and customer data is never sold, uploaded as training data, or used to feed third-party AI systems. That’s rare. Commodore began in 1958, but it has to compete in 2025 and beyond. So yes, we use AI sparingly, responsibly, transparently, and only where it adds meaningful value without disenfranchising people. In practice: We comply with applicable AI laws and regulations. We use locally hosted AI wherever possible, reducing reliance on online server-based systems. We disclose AI use openly and honestly on pages or other content where it appears. We never train AI on customer data. We never use AI to mislead, redirect, or fabricate. Today, AI helps us improve workflows, clean up audio, assist with image correction, and place team-created renders into visual scenarios while physical products are finalized. Pre-order renders are extremely common in hardware, and ours use a mix of CGI, photos, product-trained AI, compensated human actors, and real pre-production samples. For example, the Callback launch video includes two real actors, one real pre-production sample video, six CGI renders by Cem Tezcan, and just a few AI product shots. We still hire artists, designers, editors, photographers, actors, and artisans. When we generate or use human likenesses, they are based on real people who are compensated. Commodore has always made powerful technology more accessible by working fast and keeping prices low, so using faster, leaner tools is very Commodore. Ignoring modern technology would risk repeating Commodore history, and our CEO’s job is to make sure Commodore never blips out of existence again.
