Birthday gift art drawn by my old Gaia Online friend, Ama. It features Satsuki, Evan, and Kai in the centre (Tsuki, Daichi, and Kasai, back then), with Ama's characters on the sides, making a heart with their hands in front of Satsuki. It's captioned with "Happy B-Day, Neena!" (Neena was my online alias at the time.) Drawn in approximately April 2010.

She's somewhat sporty and quite strong, so scenarios that require strength are OK! She likes soccer and taekwondo, in particular. (She doesn't really have visible muscles, though, to be clear. She likes sweets & is a bit squishy.)

He's done some bad things, sure, but... as his best friend, shouldn't you try to understand? K: ... I'm not his best friend. S: Bullshit! You only hate him so much because you cared... You still do! When will you get over your stupid grudge?
A triangle chart for Rae's OCs, Satsuki, Evan, and Kai. Satsuki is in love with Evan, and he's manipulating her. Satsuki and Kai are siblings; Kai feels guilt towards her. Evan and Kai are childhood friends, but their current relationship is strained. Kai also feels guilt towards Evan.

satsuki: a very personal & emotional route, character-focused, you learn a lot about her but not much in the way of overarching story just yet; but if you go back to replay it after the other two, you realize the foreshadowing was crazy. evan: the "doomed" route. there isn't really a good ending, and whether he actually develops feelings for the player or not is up for debate. has some unsavoury elements & is probably the most controversial. kai: the "true" route, the most plot-heavy. everything is revealed. catharsis, will likely tear your heart out. might have a bit of a bittersweet ending.

- cathartic seeing anthy have as much agency as she did at the end - breathtaking visuals - i definitely enjoyed it and its subtleties more cause i've seen the anime - poor nanami lol - a little disappointed that some of my favourite parts of the anime didn't make the cut, but i think i was still able to appreciate it for what it was

Regarding my characters, you'll find four groups that they're organized in, along with the symbols that designate which universe a character belongs to. I'll update them with proper names once I come up with them... Satsuki's universe: Inspired by magical girl & shoujo animanga of the 90s/00s. Set in the 2010s. This is my primary OCverse and the one I'm devoting most of my attention to, currently! Maeve's universe: Inspired by classic RPGMaker horror games. Set roughly in an equivalent of the late 1800s-early 1900s. Cameron's universe: Inspired by slice of life webcomics. Set in the modern day. I don't have any characters from this story up, yet... Misc.: Right now, my sona is the only one in this group.

Meet Evan, my resident horrible prettyboy! I created him a mere few weeks after Satsuki--November 21st, 2009. He's very important to her story, and they're very important to each other... though not necessarily in the same ways. I haven't yet created a proper reference for him, but I at least wanted to get his AF page created in preparation for it! Characterization: Evan is a bit of a classic Machiavellian personality--he effortlessly turns on the charm for his own benefit. Behind the mask, he comes off as quite arrogant, but it's not unwarranted; he's always been ahead of his peers in the intelligence and drive departments (which led to quite the streak of loneliness as a child, but he'd sooner die before admitting that). He devotes himself wholly to what interests him, and generally doesn't concern himself with ethics when it comes to reaching his goals. ... It's not like he's entirely villainous, though. Though they are few, under certain circumstances, there exist moments when the deepest-buried parts of him bubble up to the surface--the parts yet unaffected by pretense. The ones who witness this side of him, and respond without judgment... he'd do anything for. Anything. Synopsis: The son of a high-powered, traveling career woman, Evan hails from overseas. When he was young, he was initially quite popular among his peers, before his intensity invariably put them off. Convincing himself he was too good for them, anyway, he simply refocused himself on his studies--until he met Kai, whose open-mindedness touched him deeply. The two bonded over their mutual interests, and became the best of friends, until Evan had to once again relocate, as per his mother's job. Years later, now old enough to travel on his own, he's returned. But to Kai's confusion and heartbreak, it's not him that Evan desires to reconnect with--instead, he's oddly invested in becoming closer with Kai's younger sister...

Her boots are the same, but have magenta laces rather than red ones.

Vague Synopsis: When Satsuki was young, she discovered she had access to otherworldly powers. They were a novelty at first, but before long, she had no choice but to use them to protect her home, and those she held dear, from forces beyond this realm. Things continued in this fashion until the end of her high school years, whereupon she suffered betrayal at the hands of someone very special to her; the resulting trauma was enough to make her swear off ever using her abilities again. A decade later, this oath holds true, and Satsuki largely still lives in the past that she can't--and won't--forgive herself for.
