Aaaaw, good luck. Fingers crossed from SW Germany, due to ME/CFS I won´t adopt a kitty anymore (uncertain future), but if I lived close to you I could foster a kitten or an adult cat for a while, that could still work. 💖💖💖
I was fortunate to adopt Shelby, who had grown up living in a foster home with her cat mom and siblings. There is a difference between a feral kitten and a home-raised kitten. At my age, I can only take care of Shelby. I promise to donate to adoption facilities that support foster cat families.

Fostering is such real rescue infrastructure. Hope some local folks step up fast for this kitten wave.
I want to foster kittens so badly, but I would never be able to give a single one up once it was in my home, and I’d just accumulate cats until someone cut me off. Also, I worry about them bullying my dog. I’ve seen her be chased by a squirrel before.
