(I grew nearby.) In Brittany, drivers are known to be often more careful and civil than in the rest of the Hexagone. The landscapes and road designs are similar all over Brittany down to Nantes. It took about forty years to cover the whole region. What prevents Ireland from starting?

Having driven and cycled around the area, I’ve really noticed how patient and law-abiding drivers are. Cycling with the kids, cars slow down and wait; not many speeding on faster roads; no close passes. It’s great. Infra is crucial, but it’s also a culture and mentality that Ireland doesn’t have.
