Wow, its almost like people highly favor Progressive policies. Shocking. They want a safety net and they, rightly, believe that billionaires should be taxed to fund it.
As another option, I want to see something like: "Receive a monthly dividend as a citizen as your share of AI-driven stock market growth for AI being trained on your work/data" I don't know the best way to word that, but it should definitely be seen in stockholder terms.

The astounding data point to me is the 16% who say that nothing would make them definitely vote for a Democrat. Then again... 34 felonies, civil SA conviction, serial SA of a child, pardoning violent criminals... Maybe the astounding part is that 16% seems low, given recent history.

Right up until 150k-250k multi-member household earning swing voters find out they are defined as wealthy.
Lots of issues have regional salience, but if the Democrats adopted anti-datacenter/crypto/AI + tax the wealthy as their national brand they would win in a cakewalk.
I live in the deep red state of FL. Progressive policies are popular here. We've restored voting rights to incarcerated folks, raised the minnimum wage to $15, and fell just shy of the 60% threshold for recreational marijuana. Would be great if Democrats stopped being so timid/embarrassed about it.

Reinforcement mechanisms are powerful. Daily routines, like buying groceries or gas, can serve as ongoing reminders that food costs are up due to 🍊’s tariffs & that gas prices are up due to 🍊’s ill conceived war with Iran. Democrats should leverage that.
