I always used Cloudflare as a CDN and cache. When I moved from GitHub Pages to Vercel, cache hits significantly dropped with Vercel's default settings. Moving to Cloudflare pages: Look at that! Cache hits are back again!

I fiddled with Vercel's cache settings for a while and gave up. I only serve static HTML on my site. There's no reason to be hesitant with caching. I wonder what was the reasoning behind that. But hey I'm off anyway, so 🤷‍♂️

Only for my curiosity, what was the reason to move away from GitHub pages?

Are you using SSG? If so, which one?

Not a useful reply, but just chiming in to say I had lots of weird caching issues when I tested Vercel. I'm sure there's an answer, but I never got to the bottom of it.
