I would definitely have played this for a few minutes if there was a mobile interface; I鈥檓 excited to poke at it later at a computer!

I鈥檓 a big fan of Dwarf Fortress and Brogue. This aesthetic always get鈥檚 me! I love the typing idea. That hasn鈥檛 been done before afik! If you planned to push it more you could add colors, like the wheat can be yellow, or you could paint your fence. I see a lot of potential here with barns and silos!

What did you write it in?

This is awesome! I love ANSI roguelike mechanics but this never occurred to me.

If this is what you got in 15 minutes, I can pretty confidently say that if you spent 15 hours on adding depth to it, it'd eat up a good week or two of my life.

I would suggest making the inventory also be typing-based. For example, backspace to use consumables. Relying on hotkeys, I feel, creates a disconnect between the world and the inventory. Anyway, the game reminds me of Candy Box, in the best way! It scratches the same addictive itch.
