The US military has no obvious need for a chatbot with that sort of mission. We got Bin Laden thanks to helicopters and special forces guys with guns.

This is probably not your fault because I’m sure the military isn’t saying how it used Claude. But I wish I knew in cases like this what “Claude” even is. Is it a name slapped on a diverse set of machine learning tools? If not an LLM, what *specific* algorithms are used by the military?
Just because there’s not a use case doesn’t mean it wasn’t used.
