Artist in the Pacific Northwest. Ceramics, wood firing, and bronze.

A close up of a blue ford fiesta SE. While it’s seen better days, with a few scrapes on the bumper, part of the bumper has been repaired with plastic welding, bumper cement, and 23k gold leaf. There’s also a small golden “traffic safety charm” sticker in the middle of the hood. If I’d stuck that on early, I probably wouldn’t have clipped the bumper with a trailer.

Starting the kiln with a little campfire off the side, to heat everything slowly.

A bronze pour. You can see the molds, buried in sand so only a few inches of each mold is visible. Some have red metal visible where they’ve already been poured. Two people are on each end of a pouring shank, one in silver, one in leathers. The bronze is being poured into the molds, beautiful, shiny, and glowing.
