I need to take more photos of the filter setup, but there is a lip to prevent the filter from being pushed into the plenum. The top support piece also helps with this.

Impressive setup the double plenum design with foam support looks very efficient. Have you measured how much airflow balance you’re getting with the current fan configuration?
Ultimately, the design is simply a small plenum box attached to a larger spray box, using right angles everywhere except the top, which is flat for about 9” before sloping downward to meet up with the plenum. Note that I did *not* make a filter frame, I just taped it in place. And that’s it!
