I’ve used this loads but didn’t realise you could redeem more than one kid’s meal with each purchase. Got two kids so I’ve been borrowing my wife’s clubcard to put through two separate purchases, get myself a coffee and some toast and feed both kids. This makes it a lot easier!
Really great that the possible size of the adult purchase is spelled out Too many with no surplus cash wouldn't dare to go that low for fear of being called out and shamed
There’s a big moral and political debate we can probably have over the rights, wrongs and implications of this but quite honestly I can only say well done Tesco.
Disgusting that the country is set up so that people need this. I have no problem with people being wealthy, but they could all still be eye wateringly wealthy, while everyone else has enough to live with dignity.
Agree this is an honourable thing to do, but it also offers a glimpse into how valuable a clubcard scan is to them.
Supermarkets needing to step in to address children’s holiday hunger makes me really sad.
I love that they are doing this, but there is something so broken in the UK, that this is how families are feeding their kids.
Tesco is an immensely wealthy company, so I guess this will hardly make a dent in their profits, still they did not have to do it. As you say, though, it is alarming the state we have reached when people are now dependent on this to feed children during school holidays. Pay and benefits were lagging
Sadly this continues to reinforce a parents necessity to starve in order to feed their kids. "Get yourself an apple while the kids fill their tummies".

Is there an age limit to this only because my folks are visiting next week & they are in their 80's so without sounding like a tight arse it could be well cheap for me🤣
