I'm using SVG to generate nice gradients for backgrounds. Some die, like a d6 or d2 (aka coins) have special images for each face. Others use fonts.

For comparison, this is what it used to look like. The colors are not nearly so intense, the font is thinner, and there aren't the cute designs for D2s and D6s. I've also implemented settings, so individual users can customize their dice.
