Here are a few comics/comics-related reads I recommend for Black History Month: - March series by John Lewis et al. - Jackie Ormes: The First African American Woman Cartoonist - Invisible Men: The Trailblazing Black Artists of Comic Books

The Jackie Ormes book and Invisible Men are both written by non-Black authors, but include lots of art and comics by overlooked Black creators. Likewise, March is adapted to the comics medium by non-Black creators but it's Lewis's story and (I think) his narration.
