Raspberry Scones In large mixing bowl combine: 3 cups flour 1/3 cup sugar 1 tosp baking powder 1 tsp salt With a pastry blender, cut in: 3/4 cup butter, until ingredients form coarse clumps Add, working just to moisten: 3/4 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla Fold in 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries, kneading/turning gently just to form a rough dough. Shape into a rough circle or oval on a parchment-lined pan and cut into wedges, separating them to bake. Brush with milk, optionally dust with coarse sugar, and bake ~18 minutes at 375F. Drizzle with lemon glaze (1 tosp sour cream, 1/2 cup icing sugar, enough lemon juice to make a thick icing, about 1/2 tsp.
Mayan Chocolate cookies: Combine: 2/3 c melted butter, 1 beaten egg, 1/2 c milk, 11/2tsp vanilla. Then sift in: 11/4 c flour, 1/2 tsp bkg pdr, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/3 c cocoa, 11/4 c sugar, ~ 1-2 tsp cayenne. Stir, then add 1/3 cup semi-swt chocolate, 2 c rolled oats. Drop by tsp, bake @ 350F ~15 min
