Words i’ve struggled to put together for my own thoughts on this situation, and far more brilliant. Thanks for writing and sharing Kyla. We’ve swung so hard into personal agency that we’ve lost all semblance of control of the system.
Desperation funds the illusion. Real agency starts when you own assets that compound without daily inputs. Kids taught me this: you can't optimize love, only steward it long-term.

I loved this, ty for writing it and synthesising it; a really compelling cross-section of what it means to say a culture is in decline. And it helps me imagine more clearly whats in the minds of the compulsively corrupt ppl in power in MAGA media and the WH.
