Windows 11 did something to my PC and now all my Chrome emojis have been replaced with the Microsoft ones, which look like the Comic Sans equivalent of emojis 🥲

Ah the emoji keyboard. Which requires the GIFs to load before you can insert a 💩 in an email

Have you heard about our Lord and savior, Linux?

That's strange; all Chromium browsers (not just Chrome but also Edge, Brave, etc.) use the Windows system emoji font. (That's why they don't have country flag emojis, unlike Firefox, unless you install an emoji swapping add-on.) I mean, it's not anything new that has happened recently.

What font equivalent are the Windows 8 ones? Impact?

I'm sure the all-powerful Microsoft knows what you want better than you do.

Did they rip out all your flag emoji?

The windows 11 experience was such that it made me, a normie with no substantive tech experience, switch to Linux mint on one device and a Mint/W10 dual boot on the other.
