Colbert is who literal scientists used to prove that conservatives don't have a sense of humor or understand things like satire/parody. It's one of those things everyone knew but it took reactions to the Colbert Report to really confirm with science. And they repeated the experiment to check.
I once attended The Late Show. I was impressed by how gracious Colbert treated everyone. It seemed genuine, too. I remain grateful for the experience.
The best. I used to watch as soon as a YouTube video came out. Absolutely gutted he’s off air but glad so many people showed up for him.
