Easily the most pretentious book I've read, but I gobbled this shit UP!!! Immaculate prose, horrendous but compelling characters; this 1000% deserves the 'modern classic' hype it gets. The perfect fall/winter read to get your dark academia fix with a side of murder. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
