The second night I had my new kittens, they did this. First pic is after I took the bottom drawer off. The first night I had them, I spent an hour looking and couldn’t find them. I was scared and crying and getting frantic when I turned over a squishy recliner. Second pic is them hiding inside it.

Schrödinger earned his name when he found a hole in the fascia of our bathroom cabinet that we didn’t know existed, and crawled into it. It took us nearly 3 hours to find him (because he sneezed), and we had to take apart the whole cabinet to get him out.

Some of them are panicked in a new place. When I first brought Luna home, she disappeared. At least I knew which room she was in. After looking for a long time I saw her ear sticking out from behind a book on top of the bookcase, She never jumped that high again, she had a muscle disease.

That is why I got rid of my recliner. They are not safe for cats.

Had to cut apart a chair once to get a cat out

My tortoiseshell has created a hole into another dimension under my couch. I know she’s under there and I still can’t find her so I think she’s going to Narnia or something.

They really do find remarkable places to hide!
