It's not only that people no longer revere institutions, it's that the people who *do* revere and defend them are seen as out of touch losers and punished by voters. This is why the "democracy" narrative failed and even backfired in the last election and why we need a different tack this time.
The trajectory would be reversed for executive salaries and bonuses percentage increase to workers pay. Curious 🤨🤔. Also everyone in the Senate or SCOTUS wasn't a millionaire 50 years ago.
