for the optics nerds out there lemme tell you about my new toy: I got just this lens from Tokina that is literally a mini Cassegrain telescope. it's 900mm (nearly 1400mm equivalent since I shoot APS-C), fixed at f/11, and manual focus only. it's spectacularly difficult to use but so! much! fun!
