You have another year to show that you will stop soft-pedaling and sanewashing the actions of fascists in a misguided effort to appear "balanced" before I donate a single dime. You don't depend on Republicans for funding anymore so stop distorting reality to appease them. You act like abuse victims.

Haven't your higher-ups kissed the mandarin führer's arse on more than one important & telling occasion? Thank them for enabling the support you're losing as a result. There was a choice, and they chose to NOT do the right thing. Prove you're better than this, to gain back support.
I was so close to donating- I was getting my wallet out and writing down the number. And that story making Joe Manchin out to be one of the guys and him yucking it up about his chats with Trump- nope. I turned it off, walked away. Gave elsewhere. That’s why- since you asked.
How about why we stopped giving? I'll start. I stopped giving because you guys denied and then downplayed multiple genocides, have fallen down entirely on covering Trump and continue to push a sort of pollyanna-ish view that is out of touch with most of America these days.
I regularly donated to public radio until after my daughter was murdered and reporters and editors from KCUR and public radio stations around the country liked and shared posts trashing me for the funeral I had for my daughter.
A coin backed by an active community always has a better chance long term. FDV is proving that 🎯.
The way NPR handled the the genocide in Gaza is the reason I stopped donating. Stop trying to be like CNN....there's no middle ground to fascism.
I don't because I haven't seen any evidence in a long long time that you're any different from all the other platforms catering to the values of the parasite class.

How about the reasons we're not giving? Like how NPR has spent the last few years becoming more and more just another right-wing mouthpiece instead of a legitimate news outlet.
I’ve actually been very seriously considering canceling my monthly contribution. You are the one news organization that I expected would resist the ridiculous sane-washing and kid-gloves handling of Trump’s antics, but no. Anyone painting him negatively on-air is quieted. Why shouldn’t I cancel?
Actually, I no longer do. You know why.
I won't be supporting or following NPR anymore. You kissed the orange ring too many times. You reposted outright lies or tilted manipulations of reality. You are no longer trustworthy, yet another mouthpiece media who has bent the knee to current RWN powerplays
