They added the Bubsy slider.
I'm about 6 hours in and boy that second sidekick character is something right out of a PS3 era Gust or Atlus game going "Hey, maybe we should follow the main objective?" every 90 seconds because you decided to go try any optional content instead.

my god, they actually listened to the complaints. in a world where everybody is like "we dont need over tutorialising characters following us around" and then the industry goes "right, we need to instead tell the player everything that is happening at every moment as annoyingly as possible"😵 1/2

it doesn't do as much as it should... or at least not would i would describe as "reticent" i am still very much enjoying the game. but i don't need her to tell me when ive fully charged my weapon each time.
twas in the demo too. at least when I played it. idk why this is a thing these days still the worst i've seen is GOW Ragnarok when you're told puzzle solutions before the assets have even loaded in.
