The court has spoken: Trump's attempt to get political revenge by shutting down the Hudson Tunnel project wasn't just illegal, but "flagrantly" unlawful. This ruling is good news for the thousands of workers building the project and the hundreds of thousands of commuters who will depend on it.

Please don’t let Trump be in charge of the building of the tunnel project. It will collapse with the first passenger going through it.

Керрі Світ🇺🇦🇨🇦🇩🇰🇪🇺 · 21d

Not just flagrantly unlawful, but criminally spiteful in his ongoing withholding of federal funds from blue states. The states that pay far more to the federal government than red states do.

@bxbx4.bsky.social · 21d

flagrantly stupid

Bobbie Philipsborn · 21d

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Sebastian2 · 21d

Run in 2028, Pete. We need your common sense.

Randy McCreary · 21d

You have to expect nothing less from this administration.

Shark Without Legs · 21d

Bernie would have won.

MissShell909 · 21d

these judges keep saying that the stuff he’s doing is unlawful or illegal and yet there’s never any consequences. I want to know why the citizens aren’t hiring a lawyer where the citizens can go after him for theft of our tax money, being lied to, him not obeying his oath of office. He works for us.

🇩🇰 🇫🇴 🇬🇱 · 21d

What is wrong with the US? You seem so removed from reality. The language you use to describe the other’ side. You are one people. One country. Why the need for this aggression?

magstarshine99 · 21d

ANOTHER. IMPEACHABLE. OFFENSE.

@callmegram.bsky.social · 21d

Great news!

One Who Knows · 21d

Good I guess that’s some tax money he won’t be pocketing

@lusciousgeorge.bsky.social · 21d

That must be eapecially rewarding to you, after all the effort you would have putting into it! This is the time for you to receive some good news. I hope you and the kids are happily reunited after that ghoul pulled that evil gutless attack (at arm’s length) Hell awaits him

Valerie Stewart · 21d

This action is great but the waste and uncertainty introduced by Trump’s mental incapacity is costing lots of anxiety and money everywhere. Michigan bridge, reflecting pool, Iran. Ditching the Iran agreement in first term then starting a stupid war got our entire world disrupted. Ruins everything

Julez · 21d

Now do the Gordie Howe Bridge at the Windsor/Detroit border.

Loopsydo · 21d

I’m hoping Trump’s world and his republican support is beginning to crumble….

OKNova · 21d

So how much has hav his games and delays cost taxpayers? We should be able to hold him accountable for reimbursement plus damages. It is ridiculous. There are no repercussions for him personally or financial reimbursement.

@manrootfl.bsky.social · 21d

But how long will it take to get them to actually cough up the cash? There will prolly be many more legal attempts made to block it actually happen.

henry sholar · 21d

now open the damn Gordie Howe bridge to Canada

Paul A. · 21d

16B would pay for a lot of Donald's vanity projects.

Scott P Carpenter · 21d

I am hopeful that the Gordie Howe bridge is opened as well. It may also need the intervention of a federal judge to get it moving.

True North Strong · 21d

Now can the corrupt U.S. regime work on opening the Gordie Howe International Bridge connecting Canada to MI? Trump & Lutnick have delayed opening because a (R) donor profits from the adjacent bridge. Note: Canada shouldered the cost ($6.4 B) to build the bridge. The corruption in the WH is surreal.

Kevin M. Randall · 21d

Everything the Trump administration has been doing since January 2025 has been flagrantly illegal.

Justin Ramirez · 21d

Proud of the work you did to ensure this project got funding when you were in office!

Winnie and Jax · 21d

Ok, Pete. I love ya, but how many flagrant unlawful things do he do, court orders he ignores or dances around, or norms he breaks before Democrats just pull the fire alarm and shut everything down. This is a fascist coup in real time.

Debbie McMannis · 13d

Why was he trying to shut this project down?

Richard Levine · 21d

I guess the word egregiously had already been taken by Alito, so judge had to resort to using flagrantly.🤷‍♂️

@2spark.bsky.social · 21d

Now if we can only get Trump to open the Gordie Howe Bridge! How much longer can he keep it closed to benefit his super donor and Ambassador Bridge owner Matthew Maroun?

Headlines McMuffin · 21d

Guessing we couldn’t hear from the current Secretary of Transportation because he had to take Trump’s side?

Leftie Squared · 21d

He just likes to talk about "infrastructure week", not actually do infrastructure.

@americanpatriot.bsky.social · 21d

Remember when Republicans impeached a President for lying about a consensual blowjob in the Oval Office. Today’s Republicans now don’t even care if the President blatantly and openly and repeatedly violate the Constitution. He took an oath to faithfully execute our laws. NOT break them. Govt 101.

Steed & Peel 23 · 21d

Why isn’t our current Secretary of Transportation praising this decision? 🤔

SlowlyBoiledFrog · 21d

I continue to wonder if Mr. Buttigieg could prevail in the next presidential election. He is super-intelligent, erudite, articulate, and good on all the issues. Jon Ossoff could provide real competition in intelligence. So, I mention one gay and one Jewish man (I am both). Are they viable?

Vector Ze · 21d

Because every initiative put forth by Trump is Anti-USA, any court order to block them is a success for the country.

James Carson · 21d

Now let's see if the courts will also force Trump to let the Gordie Howe Bridge to open. It's complete and ready to go, but Trump is mysteriously blocking it. Couldn't be that $million dollar donation (bribe) to Trump from the guys who run the Ambassador Bridge, could it?

Let’s Be Frank · 21d

Fantastic news. Now let’s get the same result for the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Detroit to Ontario?

BBnut · 21d

Flagrent=RED CARD

KUNA · 21d

but what's really flagrant is how often politicians try to use infrastructure projects for personal vendettas

@terrygrf.bsky.social · 21d

we should not have a lawless president/administration whose main approach is "Make me" when it comes to complying with the law.

PJ Vikes · 21d

And we pay to fund the costs of litigation for things that were illegal in the first place. He should have to pay.

Elena · 21d

But, will he comply is the question. He and the DoJ tend to.blow off Court orders.

Brian Hutchison · 21d

Is there a Google Doc somewhere tracking all of trump's illegal behaviour? I lose track of home many horrible things he is doing.

Raya · 20d

now, can he start paying court costs and legal fees for all these frivolous suits, claims, and illegal stunts

Cuppy · 20d

How about opening that fucking bridge we paid for!!

Hair Jordan · 21d

Shouldn't there be repercussions for repeatedly breaking the law besides the occasional "no"?

Nel O’ton · 21d

And what consequences does he face? For anything? The orange turd deserves to be flayed game of thrones style

dookNOws · 21d

Gordie Howe Bridge is also on that list, maybe it can open too?

Lysistrata · 21d

Waiting on that indictment.🦗🦗🦗

Yragentman · 21d

"court has spoken", just like every other ruling will be ignored by the junta.

Carrie Moley · 21d

It is such a shame we have to celebrate when our own president's petty, vengeful, harmful, meanspirited, and flagrantly illegal behavior gets overruled. Why aren't there any kind of punitive damages applied to him? Oh...I forgot...he has presidential immunity, thanks to the Supreme Court. Grrr.

DeeDee🌊🌊 · 21d

Good, arrest his fat ass! Sick and tired of him not being punished. 😡

Sparta · 21d

It's going to take a socialist movement to stop all of this since the current Dems are talking in one direction but moving in the other.

@annboland.bsky.social · 21d

And what about the new bridge into Ontario?

@foodievox.bsky.social · 21d

Please be sure there are CONSEQUENCES for ignoring court orders. Or this whole movie will replay repeatedly, because this regime is a pro when it comes to bulldozing judges, Congress, SCOTUS, and getting their way by brute force. Tangible consequences MUST be ENFORCED. America is waiting for it.

Pete Buttigieg · 21d

But these unlawful antics never should have happened in the first place.
