Dear Greedy Corporation, If your games are digital only, then surely you would understand when your entire customer base considers it reasonable to make your consoles digital based as well, simply by using emulators on PC's? Have you thought this through yet?
You forgot to mention the part where it was announced that there will be no more physical copies of games being produced and you don't want your customers to actually own anything.

I bought a PS2, a PS3, a PS4, a PS5, (each with disc drives), and a PSP. I will not be buying a PS6 if there's no disc drive. If you take away my option to own things, you lose me as a customer permanently, and that's not up for debate.

Longer development times, more expensive hardware and software, rising PS + subscription prices….if the PS6 doesn’t at least have an optional disc drive (for physical backwards compatibility and movies/4kmedia), then it’s going to be a skip for me. Might as well pick up a Steam Box to be honest.
Not a single one of these games is PS exclusive. One of the main reasons I have stuck with PS over PC is because of physical game ownership. I know we are the vocal minority, but I will be moving over to PC since at least you can get better deals over there.
I've been with PS since the ps1. I've got a huge digital library and heavily invested in the PS ecosystem. A great console, great controller and a great VR headset. I also have a large physical game collection. That matters. Plenty of time to change course, or I will with future console purchases.
