When I see the difference, it’s all the more clear… and it’s incredibly jarring. We didn’t need this upscaling at all
Yeah, this shot is from the intro, when Mario and friends are riding a flying carpet that swoops in and out of the foreground, with the perspective constantly changing. I'm not surprised DIC tweened their way through it, or that the AI has no idea what it's looking at.
