Freddie Fulmar is out on duty with the Flying Squad trying to cut down on the number of speeders, but he is struggling to cope with the growing task. So Freddie's superiors have given him permission to bring in some new recruits of his choosing, so today's stories are all about who Freddie is bringing on to his team. Sheryl Sand Martin was chatting away to herself when the paparazzi popped out from behind the wall catching her off guard, this wasn't what she was expecting at the start of her day. Sheryl isn't a lover of the paparazzi because the stories they have published about her haven't been good ones, but that was when she was dating Souza Sand Martin from Tottenham Hotspur. And the fact she was chatting to herself will probably make a story about herself looking and sounding stupid, which sometimes isn't far from the truth but she doesn't want everybody knowing that. Graham Gadwall was trudging through the Daisies without a care in the world, that was until the paparazzi popped their heads up catching Graham off guard. Now all Graham wanted to do was continue his walk to the pub so he can get a good seat before tonight's Bird Cup Semi-Final between England & Argentina, but sadly Graham was wearing a Argentinian shirt so the paparazzi were not going to let him off that easily. They followed Graham all the time asking him were his loyalties lie, but what the paparazzi hadn't seen was the rear of Graham's shirt was the England shirt. Now the paparazzi felt a tad stupid for their error, because they should always get the facts right before saying anything at all. Captured at WWT Slimbridge.
Larry Little Egret was checking whether his umbrella had any holes in it for when the next rain forecast is upon us, and being a little brutish he poked his beak through the feathers creating what he was checking for. So off he went to get some repairs before he went home and hoped his partner didn't see what had happened, but in the hurry to get repairs he forgot to pick up tea and got into trouble anyway. When the radio started to croak about a flasher in the park, Freddie Fulmar from the Flying Squad leapt into action as he knew it had to be Robbie Reed Warbler up to his old tricks. And Freddie knew he had to act quickly or Robbie would vanish back into the reeds, so he set off in the general direction of the message knowing it wasn't going to be easy to find him. But as usual Freddie would do his best even if it meant calling in more help, which is something Freddie wasn't keen on because he knew it would make Robbie go into hiding. So his aim was to keep a low profile while he searched the area where the incident had been reported, Freddie also knew this was the 3rd incident reported about Robbie flashing the passing birds in the same location. Donald Duck (Ruddy Shelduck) wasn't a fan of football, but because America's star player in their 2026 Bird Cup Squad had previously received a Red Card he stepped in to get the decision looked at. It meant Balogun Buzzard would have had to miss their game against Belgium, reducing their chances of progressing to the Quarter Finals so Donald phoned his friend Gianni because didn't think it was a foul". Donald confirmed he had spoken to Fifa president Gianni Infantino but said "all" he did was ask for a review and added he did not tell the Swiss he had to suspend Balogun's ban. Donald added: "I think it [the suspension] would have left a big stain. I can't tell them what to do. I don't believe they made the decision; I believe it was the commission that made the decision. And it was the right decision." Thankfully Donald's team got splattered by Belgium 4-1, but because Balogun Buzzard didn't score Donald Duck has asked BICE (Bird Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to look into his Immigration status because he doesn't like being made to look stupid (he doesn't need anyone else to make that happen 😂). *Sorry for the only Political Post I will ever do*, but it just had to be used in the Alt Txt Stories. Lisa Little Tern was out for an early morning walk along the beach because her partner was watching the Bird Cup with his mates, she said all they kept saying was Messi this & Messi that' so when she was leaving she said to them 'well this place better not be Messi when i get back' and walked out laughing at them. Gloria Great Crested Grebe was out for an early morning swim thinking that there would be no paparazzi around, but she thought wrong as she spotted a lens pointed in her direction. She just shook her head and shouted 'it had to be you', now i don't know what she meant by that but hey ho, the early bird catches the worm as they say. She only didn't want snapping because she was wearing her new bikini that she had made and didn't want it being seen until it was unveiled at the upcoming 'Bird Fashion Show' in Paris. So as a gesture of good will i told Gloria i wouldn't sent it in to the Daily Bird until the her spot at the show was under way, at which she was then very happy for me to get more shots. Marlon Mandarin was out for a swim when all of a sudden a camera was pushed out of the bushes and caught him off guard, on seeing this he wasn't happy because the pool was supposed to be private. Sadly when you look as good as Marlon you attract a certain level of attention, especially from the paparazzi because they need to sell their photos to put food on the table for their families. It doesn't help when your partner is Maya Mama Mandarin and hosts Love Island, so Marlon just had to put up with it or go into hiding which he didn't want to do. Captured at WWT London Wetlands.

Coming up this season for the NFL is the Rookie Percy 'The Tree Trunk' Puffin, he's pictured here with his shoulder pads on. Now don't be fooled by his size because this boy can cover the ground very quickly, and the paparazzi found this out when they shouted over to him 'Big Boy Come Here' and left out the word 'Please'. In showing how angry at this he was he set off at some speed towards the waiting paparazzi, who didn't stand around to let him close the gap. And having never spoken to Percy before they didn't know how to take his reaction and thought the best way was to not hang around to find out, but has he got closer to the only remaining paparazzi he burst into laughter while that lone journalist stopped shaking. And then in the quietest voice you've ever heard said 'what can i do for you, and what do you want to know', which put the journalists mind at ease and only asked him whether he was looking forward to the new season starting on the 9th September, to which Percy replied 'wait and see' Captured at the Farne Islands.
