Democrats need to learn that there's already a party for people who want to enact Republican legislation: The Republican Party

@compliancedivision.bsky.social · 23d

We do a power analysis of how the Republicans got us here and we start tearing their entire ecosystem down to the fucking studs, starting with car dealerships, think tanks and NAR congregations. Leonard Leo for prison. Fire every Trump appointee. Tear the ballroom and the arch down.

Lexa (he/him) · 23d

No they get it, they want to isolate and kill queer kids so they don't grow up to be leftists and prevent others from empathizing with their peers in Palestine.

Lewis Edwards · 23d

Republicans will never like them. Ever. They need to get over it.

They need to be buried under an AVALANCHE of hate (e)mail over this. I already sent three off.

“Let’s be the opposite of bold,” Corey Booker (probably)

Missing the point on purpose.

Project 2025 didn't work because it avoided political polarization and went for the easy, popular wins. It went pedal-to-the-metal extreme!

Paul A. · 23d

I keep saying. They are trying to not lose instead of trying to win. Mamdani showed what people want, but they think it's best to keep their distance. People want them to fight.

Wingofbenu · 23d

"the least politically polarizing topics" jesus fucking christ what morons

Tech 4 Housing · 23d

“It’s the economy, stupid.”

Destroying the Democratic Party is as important as destroying MAGA if we want to live our n a just society.

@kevin2170.bsky.social · 23d

Oh boy I bet their border stuff is gonna please absolutely no one. Can’t wait!

Jeff Sabin · 23d

If this is attempting to replicate Project 2025 for Democrats, they're way off--that document sure as hell didn't frame things to prioritize "the least politically polarizing topics." It literally begins with calls to eliminate first amendment protections and dismantle the federal bureaucracy.

Clem · 23d

Oh, they do. They just don't care. They know what their voters want. They just want the graft more. So, they play "the price is right" with power, trying to get just enough to do the graft without winning too much (like '09) where people might expect them to actually deliver on things that matter.

Push The Needle · 23d

I’m not trying to be lock step but I’m not sure criticizing the only party we have that can stop the other party’s fascist takeover of democracy is the best idea right now.

Malaclypse the Fetus · 23d

I think Corey very much gets what his donors and colleagues at Dialogue want and expect.

John Smith · 23d

"least politically polarizing" yeah let's open with the item that people give the smallest shit about

Gene Okerlund · 23d

I think this is the definition of facile.
