The Immortal Investigation, by Michael Cronk A goofy comedic urban fantasy by a Youtuber I enjoy watching, this didn't really land for me despite some appealing characters. Instead of continuing, I think I'd like to read a new series by this author now that he has a few novels under his belt.

Stormblood, by Jeremy Szal Action packed military sci-fi space operat with a focus on PTSD, addiction and fanatacism. The colossal inhabited asteroid makes for a memorable setting and I'm looking forward to the rest of the trilogy.
