Been curious about Markdown. Many use it when composing their web pages. I've not researched it enough to know whether learning it would be useful for me. Not a programmer. Just someone who created a WordPress site. Which needs new host. Also moving from Elementor to BeaverBuilder. Markdown? Dunno.
markdown export is the unsung feature here. once your highlights are markdown you can pipe them anywhere — vault, blog, daily review. love seeing reader mode persist on link clicks too, that little detail keeps the flow unbroken.
the highlight management piece is what i was missing. clipping was great but my highlights kept piling up with no real way to revisit. obsidian web clipper quietly became one of the best parts of my read-later loop.
