The main problem here is that in the American system, CEOs are not really leaders, they are slavers.
And why is it that people don't want to work with you
The idea that a single parent isn't emanating an internal fire while working full time to support their kids in an economy stacked against them by CEOs who make 300 times their salary with an army of assistants tells you everything that is wrong with the modern American "business leader."
Leadership must include the understanding that corporations are a part of the community, not a burden. GE spent decades making sure it never contributed to the pot that it had dozens of contracts with.
