I'll sign as well on behalf of all gardeners whose plants are rotting due to excess water at the moment (moist soil = good, waterlogged = terrible unless we're talking about a swamp).

I tried placing an outdoor mat over the mud pit our pup has created where he lands after jumping off the deck. He avoids it perfectly.

We have a pet door and have had to make landscaping choices that limit mud. Maybe it helps. Thank goodness for tile floors.
