Cows are actually really good swimmers and in Ireland they’re taken by boat to graze on offshore islands

In Ireland (County Mayo), farmers still boat cattle out to the Inishkea Islands, where the cows leap off and swim ashore to graze on the lush summer grass.

Hm the cows at the dairy farm I worked at didn’t even want to step up into a trailer without a riot act

Well, they might be good swimmers, but they aren't very graceful divers.
