Some guy at the grocery store had what looked to be a tattoo of Curly from Goosebumps (at least it was heavily in the style of Tim Jacobus) and i was like "Is that a Goosebumps tattoo?" and he was like "??????? no i think i got it from a the flashbook?" (i don't think Finns know about Goosebumps)

How old were they? Because translated Goosebumps was very much a thing for 90's kids, but apparently only for us.

they did localize lot of the books in finnish in 2000 forward but i only had vague feel i might seen one in library once (i was 15 then so i was mostly on computer or doing cool teen stuff instead of reading books) - it might been less succesful here though 🤔 goosebumps.fandom.com/wiki/Goosebu...

Finns seem a little less confused about random compliments/conversation if it's about their tattoos, I think. Those are constant advertisements of your taste in stuff, so you'd better be expecting a "hey that's cool" or "do i recognize that?" once in a while.
